What makes Easy Mind Waikato educators so special is they don’t just have the benefit of theory; they’re practically trained, and because most of them are parents themselves, they know instinctively how to nurture a child.  Our educators provide care and education for children from birth to five years of age, in a family atmosphere in their own home.  They receive ongoing support from fully qualified Visiting Teachers.

As an educator, you choose your own hours to suit your needs, your family's needs and those of your care families.  You have the flexibility to decide to offer full or part-time care depending on what suits you - you can choose how many hours per day you wish to care for children and whether or not you want to work in the school holidays. 

Easy Mind Waikato offers top  pay rates - $5.00 per hour, per child for educators who have not yet completed Module 1 of the Homebased Childcare course.  We pay $5.20 per hour for those that have completed the course, or who have a higher recognised qualification.  This means you can earn up to $20.80 an hour.

Easy Mind Waikato encourages personal development and offers training and opportunities for people working within the company.  Easy Mind Waikato pays for educators to attend a certified polytechnic course in Homebased Childcare.  We also pay for educators to gain their First Aid certificate.

All Easy Mind Waikato educators benefit from being able to provide children in their care with access to events such as music, gym and playgroups.  This encourages social interaction and allows educators the opportunity to "network" with other educators.
